Tuition Assistance
Program (CEF,
Archdiocese)
Its time to apply for the
Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) offered by the Catholic Education Foundation,
for the coming school year 2010 – 2011. Enclosed in today’s family
envelope you will find: the Instructions on how to apply; the family Income Guidelines;
and the application forms. The tuition award amount is $1,000. The
deadline for submission of all forms and proof of income is March 5, 2010 ( no
exceptions). Send all forms etc. to All Souls School office. If you
need this information in Spanish please call the school office.
Re-Registration for 2010 –
2011
In today’s family envelope you
will find the re-registration forms for the next school year
2010 – 2011. Please
complete the form and return it to the school office as soon as possible.
WASC In-put
We are in the process of
preparing for re-accreditation by WASC (Western Association of Schools and
Colleges). Information was enclosed in last week’s family
envelope and we would greatly appreciate your in-put. Please send in your
suggestions as soon as possible. Thank you!
CASINO NIGHT
Mark your calendar for a night
of FUN(raising) and FUND(raising) here at All Souls. Invite all your
family and neighbors to enjoy games, great food and music, March 13, 2010 from
7:00p.m. – 10:00p.m. See
the enclosed flyer for more information.
Service Hours
Thanks to those who have
completed the Service hours required from each family (40 hours per
family). The year is passing quickly so please make sure you are
completing the hours. A fee of $25 will be charged for each hour not
completed by May 31st, 2010. Please send in your pink card so
that we can register your completed hours.
Altar-Servers Meeting
This Friday, Jan. 22nd
at 5:00p.m. there will be an Altar-Server meeting in the church. Any
student wishing to become an Altar-Server is welcome to attend.
Bingo
Please continue to volunteer
for Tuesday evening Bingo; we are in need of help. Thank you!
Bi-Annual Tuition Due
For those families who pay
tuition on a bi-annual basis the second payment was due on January 15th,
2010. Please continue to bring in your payments and thank you to those
who already paid.
Flat Fee / Panther Care
Enclosed in today’s family
envelope you will find your bill for the flat fee and/or Panther Care.
Please send in your payment right away. We depend upon your payments in
order to pay salaries, utilities, supplies etc. etc.
ACRE testing (Assessment of Catholic Religious Education)
Grades 5 and 8 (only) will
take the ACRE tests the week of January 18th.
Catholic Schools Week
Annually all the Catholic Schools
throughout the United States celebrate their excellent contribution to
education. This year, a week of festivities will take place
Jan. 31st – Feb. 4th.
All Souls will kick off the week with a special family Mass on Sunday, January
31st at 10:30a.m. Open House will follow the Mass.
Everyone is invited to celebrate with us.

who are working hard to raise funds for All Souls School . You do not
need to be an Alum of the school to attend.
HATS FOR HAITI
Help
us support the victims of the earthquake in Haiti . Participate in “Hats for Haiti ”
Day!
Pay
$2.00 (larger donations welcome) to wear a hat to school this Thursday, January
21st.
All
proceeds of this fundraiser will go directly to Holy Childhood Association
to support their efforts in Haiti. This
fundraiser is being coordinated by Sacred Heart School in Covina , California , in association with Archdiocese of Los Angeles - Holy Childhood
